Every Bryght site has the ability to "ping" weblog notification service Ping-O-Matic, which will list your site as recently-updated on the services that Ping-O-Matic notifies. This will help get your site indexed by search engines and will also help web services that rely on the recently-updated list to index your site in your database, all of which will help increase visitors to your site.

Enable Notification

1. click Administer » Site building » Modules.
2. check the box next to "Ping" in the list.
3. Click "Save configuration".

That's it. Every hour in the background, we run a maintenance script which will check for new items on your site. If you have the Ping module enabled, the system will make a determination as to whether there is something new and if so, will send messages to the three services listed above.
