After our preview release of Drupal 5 last week, we've got a new tagged release to announce.

The update page lists all the changes. One of the main highlights is the inclusion of the Google Analytics module. We've written up some documentation on using Google Analytics with your Drupal site. It includes instructions on going and getting an account, which is the first thing you'll need to do.

On the community front, looking closely at modules in and around the Drupal 5 release had us roll a couple of patches. And by "we", I mean Richard, our support master. The Akismet module had some stray "em" tags, some broken links, and some database errors. Richard also turned a Google Analytics module update into a proper patch.

Our servers are named after famous Canadian Mounties, but we don't have names for releases yet. Types of beer? Famous Belgian chocolates? 70s TV Series? I don't know...anyone else have suggestions? The Robot Coop already uses My Little Pony names, so that's out.

VPS customers can update to this release by following the instructions on updating to a new tag. New signups will have all features enabled automatically.
