Bryght to Start Shutting Down Effective April 30th, With Complete Phaseout by May 29th

The blog post at Raincity Studios has the full details: Bryght will cease hosting on April 30th, 2009 and we will completely shut down by May 29th, 2009. Email transition@bryght.com if you have not received communication from us about this. Over the Easter weekend, we will monitor email remotely on Friday and Monday (and the Saturday and Sunday) but may not be available except for emergency support. We are back in the office on Tuesday, April 14th.Service Updates
- bryght: Starting the backup of all Bryght Lite sites. Please contact support@bryght.com if you need the database and files of your site!
- bryght: On Thursday we'll backup all enabled Bryght Lite sites, but we encourage you to get a hold of us before to transition off support@bryght.com
- bryght: Last week of Bryght's hosting service. We are also shutting down DNS services on May 29th, so you will need to change DNS providers by then.
- bryght: If you haven't given us logins to transition to Slicehost/Rackspace/EZP by 4 PM tomorrow (May 7th), we can only offer best effort support.
- bryght: Most (almost all) customers are in our American data centre & are still online. If we haven't queued you for transition yet, email us ASAP.

End User Guide
Think of the End User guide as Bryght 101 and an ideal starting point for learning how to add and publish all sorts of content. Besides adding blogs, pages, images and audio, you can learn how to edit personal profiles, add sidebar blocks, plus info on logging in, commenting, and tracking site updates.
Site Admin
Ready to invite visitors and participants to your Bryght Light site? This Site Admin library includes lessons on adding desirable functionality for your visitors. Topics include: themeing, defining access roles, adding custom CSS, and configuring image albums, event listings, buddy lists, favicons, and contact forms.
VPS
This collection houses the technical instructions for maintaining your Bryght Virtual Private Server. Most tasks described within require knowledge of the command line and the skills to administrate a server remotely using SSH. You'll find recipes for changing passwords, backing up and creating databases, and installing modules.
Reseller
Ready to spread the Bryght word? The reseller program may be a good fit. There is no extra cost to sell to your customers beyond our rack rate. You set your retail price and provide first line of support and value added services to find your space in the market. Once you're on-board, you can easily add additional sites and admin sites for your customers.
