Some users cannot open PDF attachments
I have a list of attachments on a page. Some users are complaining that they cannot open any PDF attachments.
It seems that they can open and save out WORD doc file, but they can't open PDFs. It tells tham that the file does not exists (which is not true). But if they save it onto their computer, they can open PDFs from there.
Why is this happening? Is there a fix for it?

I had the same thing happen
I had the same thing happen on my site...
I believe it was due to a problem with the version of the Adobe program that was used to create the PDF files in the first place. I wouldn't be surprised to discover they were created on a Mac - other versions of the program seem to be OK.
If you've got access to the Windows version of Adobe Professional I'd suggest opening them and saving them again, and then uploading the new version. I wasn't able to test this so I can't guarantee that it'd work.
I simply warned users to download the file first and then open it - not perfect but OK as it was only needed to be available for a short while....

I took a look at the database, and nothing looks out of the ordinary. Can you tell me which files this is affecting? That is, which pages are people trying to download the PDFs?
