A question about feed_node module
Hi, All --
The feed_node module is in use at one of my sites, and I was curious about using it at H2otown (I found an RSS feed of youth sports events and scores for my town, and I want to integrate it into the main page). I installed the module, but the INSTALL.txt sez:
"From administer >> feed node, configure feed node settings."
But I don't have any menu items that look like that. If I look at h2otown.info/admin, I see that I'm getting access denied messages when visiting http://h2otown.info/admin/feed_node/ manually. Oddly, when I go to admin >> menus, it says there IS a feed node item in the admin and admin/settings menu, yet it doesn't show up in the menu on the sidebar.
I looked at the site I know it's in use in, and I don't see the menu items there either.
I did enable the module, and setup the access controls so that I could have access to it under my account...hmm....stumped!
Have a great day!
Lisa W.

Fixed! For suitable values of "fixed"
Hey, guys,
I read Boris' post that provided an overview of aggregation/feedparsing, and saw that feed_node was probably not going to be in ongoing development, so I went with feedparser. Now I have a completely different set of problems, but they'll get handled in drupal.org/project/modules/feedparser :)
Actually, I did manage to do what I wanted to -- get local sports times/venues onto the front page automatically -- but now I can't see any of the aggregator items that aren't being treated as nodes. Well, I'll figure it out, and if not, I can always revert to regular old aggregator.module if I want to.
Hope you're having a blissfully productive day,
Lisa W.
