Where's Bryght???
I can't access any of my Bryght-hosted sites (http://forpeace.net, http://village-west.net) nor http://bryght.com! I understand glitches happen, but this one is pretty major and I would really like to see at least some information here on the News page about what is going on.
I just sent out an e-mail 14,000 people with links that are now broken. Should I have recreated the pages on a different server, or just postpone my message? Help me out, please.

Back up now
The database server experienced connection issues yesterday and the day before, and we're working to resolve it permanently. The sites are back up, and the links should work now.
(I need to check my RSS more often. I'm subscribing to all the feeds in Google Reader, which is my main reader these days, though I use NetNewsWir for work/authenticated feeds still.)

Why hasn't there been anything posted to customers about what went wrong? In the future, I would really like to at least be able to get some information about what is happening. For example, how will I even know if it's just my site or a whole server down?
