The following is an email we sent out on Friday to all Bryght VPS aka "Bryght Hosting" customers (Bryght Light customers are not affected):
START OF EMAIL to BRYGHT VPS CUSTOMERS
Hello Bryght Hosting Customers!
We are writing today with a few updates about the billing for your
Bryght hosting packages. These billing changes are part of
the ongoing integration with Raincity Studios and will help us
serve you more efficiently moving forward.
Feel free to contact us directly with any questions about any of
these topics (or anything else on your mind for that matter).
Credit Card Statement Update
Beginning June 1, 2008, your monthly hosting charges will appear
as "Raincity Studios" credit card statement - currently the charges
are listed from our partners, WorkHabit.
No More American Express, Discover and Diners Club
With this billing change, we'll no longer accept American Express, Discover
or Diners Club as a form of payment. Customers currently paying
via AmEx, Discover or Diners Club will
receive another email asking for Visa or Mastercard information shortly.
New, Improved Taxes for Canadians
Finally, for Canadian customers only - you'll notice a charge for
5% GST added to your bill as of October 1, 2008. Customers in
other countries ... enjoy ;-)!
Again, please feel free to sent any questions via support@bryght.com.
We truly appreciate your business and are proud to be your web
community hosting provider.
With Regards,
Roland Tanglao
