When quoting a long passage of text, some of which might be more than one paragraph, it can be useful to indent the block of text. Indenting is also useful for greating outlines of text, though nested lists (see below) may be more useful.

To Indent Text

1. Move to the paragraph or section of text you wish to indent (that is, move to the right).

2. Click the button.

To Outdent Text

1. Move to the paragraph or section of text you wish to outdent (that is, move to the left).

2. Click the button.
• You can only outdent as far left as the margin as defined in your website's stylesheet.
