If the administrator has allowed the user group you are a member of to create polls, you can ask a question and receive quick feedback on an issue you are thinking of with vote results represented graphically.

1. Click create content » poll.
2. Type in a title.
3. For each choice, add a title and the amount of items you want to have underneath.
4. If you need more choices, check the "Need more choices" box and when you preview, you will be able to go back to step 3 and add more items.
5. To allow votes, you need to make sure its poll status is "Active". When the voting period is over, you can go back to the individual poll and close it.
6. Choose a poll duration. After that period, the poll will automatically expire. If you choose "Unlimited", then the poll closes when the poll creator (or the administrator) chooses.
7. Click "Submit".
