What does "sxip in"/"sxip out" mean?
What is Sxip?
Sxip stands for "Simple eXtensible Identity Protocol", which enables you to login to multiple types of sites—including Bryght sites—with one username and password combination. It means you don't have to remember a bunch of usernames and passwords and can decide what information you want sites to have about you.
Logging into a Sxip Enabled Site
If you're not already logged into a site that has Sxip enabled, you will see the following graphic in the sidebar:
That graphic is a clickable link to sign in using your Sxip login. If you don't already have a Sxip, you will be directed to a sign-up page.
INSERT HOW-TO HERE
When you are logged in using your Sxip sign-on, you will see the
following image in the sidebar, which you can use to log out from the
site:
That graphic is a clickable link to log out of the site.
Associate Your Bryght Login With Your Sxip Login
If you already have a username and password at a Bryght site, do not have a Sxip login but would like one (to have a single sign-on for all the sites you
are a member of), you can still sign up for a Sxip login and associate it
your Bryght site user name and password. To do this, make sure you sign
up at Sxip with the same email address as you did with the Bryght site,
and when you login using the Sxip button, you will be logged in with
the associated Bryght site user name and password.
